Never Have I Ever
Never Have I Ever, by Sara Shepard, is the sequel to The Lying Game. The books are about Emma Paxton, a girl living in foster care who discovers that she has a long-lost twin. Little does she know that her twin, Sutton Mercer, who seems to have gotten the better life, is already dead at 17. Sutton's death leaves Emma to take her place. In the sequel, Emma is still in Sutton's place, trying to uncover her killer. She has just concluded that her friends, Charlotte and Madeline, along with her sister, Laurel, are all innocent. All arrows now point to Lilli and Gabby, who are commonly referred to as the "Twitter Twins" for their obsessive phone use. After the ominous and mysterious train-prank which sent Gabby to the hospital, Emma is trying to uncover that really happened. At the pre-Homecoming with a sunken Titanic theme, the group tries to prank Lilli and Gabby into wearing their swimsuits to the unveiling of the court, the "Twitter Twins" catch quickly catch on, and are not happy. When a light fixture falls dangerously close to Emma, she soon realizes that Lilli and Gabby were in all the right places, at all the right times.

I read the first book in this "series" and it sounds so intense! These books always have so many little secrets going on that make you want to keep reading to find out what they are. Emma is getting super close to figuring out who killed her sister. Do you think it was Lilli and Gabby?
