Maze Runner

I just finished the maze runner by james Dashner. In the end thomas and Teresa saved the whole group by figuring out the secret code. only about 40 people believed in their plan and of the 40 that went 20 died fighting the grievers. Also Thomas' first friend, Chuck, died saving him. Thomas had made a promise to chuck that he would solve the maze and find his mom. That is what got Thomas though the fight was trying to save chuck. Once they shut down the system the wicked people try to kill them but they are saved by another group. There is a sickness called the Flare that is killing everyone and that is why the kids were put in the maze, to try to cure the Flare.
