Angel

i am reading Angel the last book of the Maximum ride series. the main point of the book is a group called the doomsday group who want to kill humans and think the world is going to end. the book is written aroud two points of view, Fang's and Max's. they used to be part of the same "flock" (the kids have wings) but they split apart. Max is having many emotional troubles she's torn between loving Dylan, who was bred to be her perfect match, and Fang who used to be her boyfriend, even though she never says it. the flock has never had much luck with grown-ups. most of their enemies were grown ups. they have had a few adults they trusted Jeb, who was like a father but sort of betrayed them, and Max's mother, Dr. martinez. she seemed good until the flock brings up some doubts about a recent plane they were in that crashed and the Doomsday group, involving Max's mom and Max is forced to agree. they make a pledge never to trust a grown up. Both max and fang are chasing after the same thing, and now, on the way to the same place, they are bound the meet up, for some reason i think it will have a happy ending.
