Someday Angeline By Louis Sachar
I just recently started and finished a book called Someday Angeline by Louis Sachar. This is an extremely touching book and almost made me cry at various parts in the book. A quick preview of the book is that there is a girl named Angeline and she to me seems to be around eight years old. Her mother passed away when she was very little from drowning and it seemed to be somewhat haunting Angeline throughout the book. Angeline is also a genius and is extremely talented when it comes to anything. She is an absolute genius and she doesn't want that. All Angeline wants is to be treated like a "normal" human being. She also has a harsh teacher who doesn't really like the way Angeline is because she is so talented. One of the humorous parts of the story is her teacher is named Miss. Terbone, but it sounds like Mr. Bone and Angeline's father thought the entire time that Angeline's teacher was a man. Toward the end of the book Angeline's father develops feelings for the teacher and many other crazy scenarios and events occur during the end of the book and I would really recommend you read the book to find out because it overall was a very engaging book.
