This book made me think about what is really guaranteed in life. Nothing that we have will ever last forever. Although I haven't finished the book yet, it is a very predictive book once you get into it. I also thought about how perfection really seems underrated. Macy is constantly trying to be perfect, but in the middle she reveals about how she wouldn't really smile when she was dating her perfect boyfriend, it was just a show for everyone else.

The Truth about Forever
The Truth about Forever is a great book where a lot of parts of one girl, Macy, and her stories are brought together. The book is written by Sarah Dessen, and focuses mainly on what "forever" really means. It indirectly says, many times, that there is no forever, and that everything ends. Macy's father dies before the book starts, and from then on Macy isn't ever sure about when "forever" ends. She is constantly trying to be perfect, dating her perfect boyfriend who I find to be a very boring guy. When she starts to work for a catering company called "Wish", she stops hiding her flaws and stops living a "perfect" life. Her long-time boyfriend breaks up with her, and she meets Wes. Wes lost his mother, the namesake of Wish, too. They bond over this and start to get to know each other.
