Love That Dog

I started and finished Love that Dog. This book is very good and I really liked it. The style of this book was very casual because it was written in a collection of poems. I like the theme of the book as well. This book is about a boy named Jack who loves dogs more than anything. I personally don't have a dog but I did a while ago named Lily she was very special to me and she passed away about a year ago. Reading this reminded me a lot of Lily and at some points it were very difficult to read. I also had a lot of connections in the book to my life. Some of the poems reminded me of times with Lily and I really felt a deep connection with the book and never wanted it to end. I would recommend this book to people that like dogs or have/had a deep connection with a pet.
