Incarceron

I recently started a new book, named Incarceron by Catherine Fischer. The book is about an escape from a living prison. So far I have reached page 50, and been introduced to several characters. The main character Finn is part of a group that kills and steals from people. He is very talented at his trade and successful as well, earning respect from the others. It is because of this respect that he is able to keep the Maestra alive.
This was his request after risking his life on a raid. His oath brother Keiro is very sharp and risky. In trying to acquire the Maestra, Keiro backs him and helps him attain her. She is a very proud person and seems angrier with the group rather than scared. Finn believes that she knows something about him based on a tattoo on his wrist that she recognized. On the other side of the story, the character who has the focus is Claudia, daughter of the warden of Incarcenon. She is being forced to marry a man who she does not especially want to marry, but her father moved up the date to the next week. She doubts whether her father loves her, and vice versa. She feels bred, or made for his purposes.
