KING OF TORTS
For this reading check I read the book "The King of Torts" by John Grisham. This is a book about a small time lawyer who gets big into a massive case. He is payed 25 million dollars to give up the case. After he gives it up he starts a life as a big time tort lawyer. A tort lawyer is a lawyer who handles massive law suits usually against large companies. This book made inspired me to want to become a lawyer. I really like John Grisham's style of writing and how I can't put his books down. One thing that I didn't like about this book was that in the ending it ended too quickly. The book started the ending with angry clients fighting back. I thought that the span of the climax of the book was too short, (it was about 30 pgs). I thought that this book could've been one of my favorites, but because of the ending it won't be. I have noticed this with a couple of other Grisham books. He sets up a great plot, but every once in awhile the ending will just fall flat. Overall I recommend this book. I thought that the insight it gave me into law was very useful.
