I enjoyed all the mysteries, and would recommend them to anyone, but I must say I find the whole thing a little unrealistic, in that somehow she is constantly around murders, and in the fact that the police solve nothing themselves, but rely completely on this little old lady. Anyways, these stories are great!

Miss Marple Complete Short Stories
Over Spring break I read the complete collection of Miss Marple short stories written by Agatha Christie. Miss Marple is an old, stout, delicate lady, with many connections. She lives in England in a small town, but travels often. She, although retired from whatever profession she held before, solves mysteries during her various vacations, and is well known by the people and the police as one of the best detectives in England. There are many stories in this collection, and each one of the stories are different, so it would be difficult to explain the plots of all of them. However, I can explain that all of them have to do with murders, and each mystery is filled with unbelievable detail, marvelous deduction, and very interesting and complex characters and plots. Agatha Christie's writing style and suspense is gripping, and once you start one story, you will not be able to put it down. Agatha Christie does use some unfamiliar words though, words that were used years ago in England.
