Top Gear Magazine
If you are wondering why I am posting about a magazine and not a book, this is why. Top Gear is known by most as the TV show on BBC, its a car show that is actually good to watch, in fact, over 5 million people tune in to watch Top Gear at 7:00 every Sunday on BBC2. The Writing of the show, spectacular, humorous, and the car descriptions are unlike any other. Same goes for the Magazine. It was started about 12 years before the show, and it has the same elements. Humor, passion, and amazing writing. I am an avid car fan, and "a former Brit" so this might be bias but this pokey British magazine is essential for any car fan. You won't find nascar, indy car or the new Ford; instead: Pagani Zondas at 228 mph, the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari's, Lambos, Porches and Aston Martins. Of course, they do have some sensible cars that a human can afford: Fiats, Fords, Toyotas, but these are rare. The poit of being a car fan is to be absolutely wowed by everything. And the noise, above everything the raw noise of a 235 Mph Lambo roaring down the straight into the next corner and the driver laughing his arse off and driving into the distance...
