Calder Games

I am continuing to read the book The Calder Games by: Blue Baliett. Recently Calder and his friends went to a museum to look at a man named Alexander Calder’s artwork with their class. Calder wonders off and finds a room in the museum where there is a game called the Calder Game that you can play. Meanwhile, Calder and his dad are leaving for a fun and exciting trip to England, so they say goodbye to their friends and head out for a fun and exciting adventure. When him and his dad finally arrived in London, they were really excited to visit and venture this unknown place to them. The first thing they did was find the town square, and to their surprise they find a sculpture by Alexander Calder, Calder and his father both wondered what such a new and exotic sculpture would be in an “another century” town. I am excited to continue reading and to figure out why the Alexander Calder sculpture is in the town square and how it ties together, and fits in with the book.
