Scorpia Rising

Recently I finished the final installment in the Alex Rider series, Scorpia Rising. Alex and M16 have started drifting their separate ways, Alex back to school, M16 back to espionage. But after the terrorist organization Scorpia is believed to be causing commotion in Cairo, and there is a school that seems as if it might be a target, M16 has no choice but to send Alex in again. This time won't be so easy for Alex though, as Scorpia is waiting for him in Cairo.

Alex suffers through immense hardships in his life. His mom and dad are killed when he is very young, his uncle is killed when he is 14, and now he lives with his closest companion, his nanny Jack. Alex has to make a tough decision in letting Jack come with him this time, the first time she has come along, risking losing his life-long friend and mentor. Their relationship is tested when she is captured, and Alex has to make a choice between her and his home country England.

I recommend that you read the whole series, especially this book.
