Zombies vs. Unicorns

I read the book Zombies versus Unicorns several weeks ago and enjoyed it. It may have been a little above my reading level but I still enjoyed it. The book had a format of several short stories by authors such as Holly Black, Justine Larbalestier, Garth Nix, and many more. I personally have always been a HUGE fan of zombies and knew they would always be superior. But throughout the story, many of the Unicorn stories seemed cool to me. I thought they just pranced around on rainbows with flowers but was not aware they have some pretty cool powers like super speed and healing powers. I also like the view of Zombies. They weren't all just brain eating, mindless, monsters who would do anything to eat any human but had emotions. They interacted with humans in normal ways just also wanted to eat their brains. I really like the mac and cheese model a zombie used to describe its desire for humans. I really got a craving for mac and cheese because I was hungry and got a understanding of a zombies desire for brains. To summarize I would say this is a fun book, maybe a little explicit at times but worth reading.
