Upon bailing on Peter and the Sword of Mercy on page 175 because of the pace and repetition of the others I started a new book called The Happiness Project. It sounds like a self-help book, which it kind of is, but it’s more of a way to answer the most asked question of “What is the meaning of happiness”. In this book the author Gretchen Rubin writes about what she does to find her meaning of happiness. By each week she writes about what new aspect to look at and what to do to help. Then after each week it adds up to a year carrying on your each step until you find happiness. This book is intriguing because you really want to flip the next page to see the consequence and get that one step closer to know. Because of my kindle it says I am at 16% of a 318-page book, to my math that is about 51 pages in. This book tests scientific studies about happiness, Rubin says, “ It stretches the mind and wisdom of ages.” I highly recommend this book and don’t think of it as a self help book but away to explore yourself and the meaning of happiness. When you read this you actually will find yourself following the steps and it is quite fun to see yourself help yourself.
