The Zookeeper's Wife Finished
About a week ago, I finished The Zookeeper's Wife. This post will only be about the rest of the book. Pretty soon after page 100, Jan and Antonia start hiding Jews in their zoo. Jan also does other work for the polish underground, the group that supports Jews during Nazi Poland, including blowing up trains and poisoning Nazi beef. The rest of the book is pretty much about what happens during the time of the polish underground. This includes sections on how Jan or Antonia get Jews out of Warsaw, and it also includes sections on some of the visionary people who go through the zoo on there way to get out of Poland. Overall, I think that this was a well written book, although it wasn't really exciting.
