The Tiger Rising

I just finished The Tiger Rising. It was about a boy who doesn't have friends at his school and he gets bullied by the kids on his bus. That is why he is so excited when a new girl joins the bus and they soon become close friends. Although they live in completely different areas and situations, they both share something in common- the love of animals. As they find out there is a tiger trapped in a cage in the middle of the woods, they discover that they are determined to rescue this animal. As their journey continues, they find the key to friendship and they soon find that with each other they can find a way to rescue the creature, without even thinking what concenquences will come of it. This book was a very short and I recommend it.
